It is everywhere, wreaking havoc on our environment and health throughout its life cycle. From production to disposal, its impact is undeniable.

FOOD TO ENERGY RECYCLING
FOOD TO ENERGY:
IT STARTS WITH OUR SPEEDIE
Meet Adrian and Marie, proud grandchildren of Speedie Waste & Recycle's founder, Francesco Barilla.
They are pictured together out on one of our Organic Food Waste Recycling collection runs - Food Waste to Energy.
The Food Waste to Energy recycling process differs from our Organic Composting Recycling service. Rather than making compost, this food waste is processed and converted into heat and energy that is used to power Melbourne homes.
